The Bryn Mawr Farmers Market Organized By Farm To City

I love sharing Sarah Bakes in person, and the best place I have found to do that is at the farmers market. The real joy is the immediacy of it all -- customers meeting up with each other, happy eaters of all ages interested in all things yummy, fresh and local -- luscious peaches,

crunchy parsnips, grass-fed meats, and yes,

treat-yourself-worthy desserts!

And for me, not taking life too seriously (with food!)

I've baked a Pontiff Pumpkin Cupcake when Pope Francis was in town,

a Markle Sparkle Scone to commemorate the nuptials of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle,

and my silliest (and very delicious) creation -- a human "dog bone" butter cookie

with green sanding sugars as the Philadelphia Eagles

were mistakenly dubbed the Underdogs of Super Bowl LII.
